Sports Tournament (1)Hockey game involving the Cricket Club, Football Club, Golf Club and Kington Ladies Hockey Club at the Recreation Gorund at 13:00.

Beetle Drive at the Parish House at 19:00. Admission £3 to include light refreshments. All are welcome for a fun evening.

Kington Festival Charity Shop - 48 High Street, Kington in association with Rita Langford. We require donations of good quality new or pre-owned furniture, pictures, household items, toys, books, bric-a-brac etc. If possible please drop your donations in on Friday 2nd June between 2:30pm - 16:30. If you have difficulty transporting items to the shop then please contact Phil Eggerton.

Come and pick up a bargain and support your Festival shop.

Saturday 3rd June

Kington Summer Food and Drink Festival -  Kington Chamber of Trade will be holding their first summer festival, running on a similar concept of their winter festival with more outside eating with some great street food on offer with plenty of local drinks available to wash it down with as well as their own pimms and cocktail bar which will offer some fantastic prizes to win. 10:30am 16:30am. Free admission and free parking.

Thursday 8th June

Car Treasure Hunt - A competitive or fun evening, the choice is yours. Drive through our beautiful countryside guided by answers the clues provide. Organised by the Marines Twinning Association. Entrance £4 per car; meet 18:30 at Mill Street Car Park. Car treasure hunt will take place in ALL WEATHERS!

Friday 9th June

Scavenger Hunt -A journey around all of the pubs in Kington in teams of 2 to 5 picking up clues and answering some not too difficult questions. For starting location and time please see posters around town. Over 18s only.

 

Sports Tournament (3) - Bowls Match involving Bowling Club, Cricket Club, Football Club and Kington Ladies Hockey Club at Kington Bowling Club.  Starts at 18:00.

Kingtonbury - A day for all of the family! There will be a selection of bands playing throughout the day for your entertainment. There will be a bouncy castle and other activities for the children. Bring your own picnic! The bar at the Football Club will be open for you to purchase your drinks, as well as there being a real ale bar. Gates open at 12noon - 10pm at Kington Football Club. £10.00 per adult, Under 12s free & a Family Ticket £25.00.

Kington Arts and Crafts Market - Come along to the first Arts and Crafts market of the year! Quality local work by local artists and craftspeople. Hands on craft activity for kids and adults. 10:00 - 16:00, at the Market Hall.

 

Wheelbarrow Race Evening -Bring all the family to watch the various races through the town or enter yourself to compete for numerous trophies and prizes! Registration for all entries will commence at 18:00 in Kington Primary School playground - so don't be late! Please see our Wheelbarrow pages for more information. Please note roads will be closed between 18:15 and 20:30.

St. Mary's Annual Church Fete - The Vicar, Churchwardens and P.C.C are pleased to hold St. Mary's Annual Church Fete as part of Kington Festival this year. Join us for this family occasion when there will be stalls, games, competitions, music, fun for all and of course, scrumptious teas and competitive putting from 14:30 onwards in Kington Vicarage Garden.
